Defects Analyst

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Aircraft Defects Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our aircraft by identifying, analysing, and reporting defects. This position requires a strong understanding of aviation maintenance and engineering principles, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

\n\nAnalyse and evaluate operational aircraft defect reports, repetitive defects and maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement\nCollaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to investigate defects and recommend corrective actions\nMaintain accurate records of defect analysis and resolution processes\nPrepare detailed reports and presentations on defect trends, root causes, and recommendations for management\nEnsure compliance with aviation regulations and company policies related to aircraft safety and maintenance\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights based on defect analysis\nParticipate in meetings and discussions with cross-functional teams to address defect-related issues\nPublish weekly/Monthly defect statistics for the DHK wide body fleet to the DHK executive team and stakeholders.\n\n

Requirements

\n\nB1 or B2 Aircraft engineering licence or bachelor’s degree in aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field\nProven experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a similar role, preferably with B767 and B777 experience\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets\nKnowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment\nProficiency in using data analysis software and tools (e.g. Excel, databases, etc.)\nDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills.\n\n
