Job DescriptionThe LAC – Latin America & Caribbean – Deal Team is responsible for designing and managing the various financial analyses for commercial proposals and advising stakeholders and decision-makers about the risks and opportunities.
The Financial Sr Manager supports LAC leadership in development of deal modelling, approval, performance tracking process for Visa for Regional and Global Deals. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities with current and new clients that achieve strategic and financial goals while meeting business and global process and governance requirements. This hands-on role requires strong financial and business acumen with the desire and ability to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and performance of the function.
Essential Functions:
Lead and coordinate the LAC Deal Finance on the Regional and Global deals function, through its governance process, ensuring alignment with business needs, compliance with internal governance, and strategic balance of stakeholder interests with Visa's objectives.
Collaborate with Visa Sales teams to develop and optimize financial proposals, conduct due diligence on financial projections, provide feedback for risk-adjusted returns, and ensure alignment between financial and commercial proposals. Contribute to negotiation strategies.
Support the LAC Deal Team leadership by demonstrating eagerness, responsiveness, strong work ethic, organization and teamwork. Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and across Visa.
Deliver high-quality, insightful analysis of deal structures, including sensitivity and stress testing scenarios. Implement and apply best practices in all deals to achieve business outcomes while identifying and mitigating risks.
Partner with business leaders to achieve key business and finance priorities through strategic deal-making and effective deal portfolio management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and contract management, to ensure efficient production and execution of client contracts, meeting all governance and compliance requirements.
Oversee reporting, monitoring, and follow-up processes with Regional and Country Deal Teams, and prepare comprehensive management and operational reports on Client Incentives for headquarters, LAC management, and Business Development teams.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- 8 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree in BA, finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative field - MBA is a plus.
- Excellent modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills, capable of identifying and modeling complex business problems with well-structured analyses and quantifiable financial impact.
- Experience with business contracts - international business contracts are a plus.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, including the application of pivot tables, macros, and formulas.
- Proficiency with other MS Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
- Experience with data reporting and report visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Business Objects, Tableau) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of programming & coding (Python, Visual Basic) and development methodologies (Scrum) is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required - Portuguese is a plus.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 120,900.00 to 175,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
