Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion – it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive. **Your day at NTT DATA** The Data Center L2 "Technical Services (TS)" Systems Integration Specialist is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for providing technical support to clients and involved in medium to complex environments for installation, integration, deployment, configuration and fault management. This role is able to compile technical specifications in a clear, concise, unambiguous manner to explain the advantages and disadvantages of options leading to the final solution and are able to create alternative solutions as backup planning. This role works towards professional to expert level certification, whilst at the same time developing business knowledge. **What you'll be doing** We are looking for a Data Center Technical Support Engineer who reflects the innovative spirit, creative talent, production excellence, collaborative mindset + **Responsibilities** + The DC-L2 "Technical Support Engineer (TSE)" role focuses on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging technical problems associated with Dell/HPE storage, HCI vSAN/Nutanix, Cisco UCS, Dell/HPE/Lenovo Rack Servers. + Manage, Maintain and support various systems, servers and services on behalf of Production Technology including: + Network devices such as switches and Firewalls + Network attached storage device management. + Enterprise Class Servers + Act as the primary technical support responder to Perform troubleshooting to isolate, diagnose and resolve complex network / storage problems + Produce detailed implementation instructions or carry out required changes to complete tasks/projects, resolve incidents/problems, and for changes/improvements requested by management and the architecture teams. + Work closely with other technical groups to ensure that IT standards and technologies are in line with the overall technical direction and security posture of Lucasfilm and its companies. + Write functional requirements/specifications documents and update/maintain all documentation requested by management + Provide Excellent Customer Service Support, including clear verbal and written communications, + Work with equipment vendors and customer support, tickets, troubleshooting, problem escalation including phone support, on-premise or on-phone root cause analysis. + Must be available via mobile phone or participate in off hours support of the global Production team. + Must be available to travel, including internationally as needed, sometimes on short notice. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) required. + **Basic Qualifications:** + **Technical** : + **Required:** + 8 years of experience in Dell/HPE storage implementation with enterprise level hardware and software. + 8 years of experience in HCI vSAN/Nutanix implementation. + 8 years of experience in Dell/HPE/Lenovo rack servers implementation, remote board and BIOS Settings + Knowledge of Enterprise / Mid Tier NetApp storage systems, configuration and management using the CLI. + Familiar with Block/File/Object storage technologies + Familiar with HCI technologies + Deep technical expertise and hands-on experience with hardware vendors including Cisco C/B, Cisco UCS, Dell/HPE/Lenovo rack servers, along with general data center facility wiring/fiber/connectivity requirements. + Have a strong understanding of IT security concepts, procedures and implementations. + Proven experience designing, building, automating and supporting large-scale technical infrastructure in a multi-site, multi-platform environment. + Ability to learn new technology and systems on the job + Thorough knowledge of system performance issues and tuning. + Experience in integrating systems + Knowledge of project management best practices. + Data Center Management (Rack, Cabling and Hardware installation) + Should have knowledge of Project management, Operations and Support services field. + Experience and Knowledge in VMware Data Center virtualization implementation and administration and HCI concept "vSAN, Nutanix" + Experience and Knowledge in Veeam administration and implementation + **Preferred:** + Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a similar degree preferred. + Solid working knowledge of Apple / Microsoft and / or Linux Operating Systems and how they work with back end systems in an enterprise environment. + Networking (Cisco/ Arista) Basic knowledge + Ticket Tools hands on + **Non-Technical:** + A clear and concise communicator, written and verbal, with the ability to keep end users informed of progress and managers informed of requests. + An effective self-driven team player with a proven ability to resolve problems professionally and systematically. + Passionate about delivering rigorous follow-through on assigned tasks. + An agile, flexible and quick thinker: this is an energetic, dynamic environment requiring an ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements. **Workplace type** **:** On-site Working **About NTT DATA** NTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
