Responsibilities\nLead and develop a team of data analysts\nTrain and mentor junior staff in data analysis and reporting\nImplement tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights\nDevelop, implement and maintain databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality\nIdentify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and provide insights to help make business decisions\nPresent data-driven recommendations to the executive team using statistical tools to interpret data sets and prepare reports for senior management\nWork with management to prioritize business and information needs\nCollaborate with different teams and stakeholders to understand data needs, identify opportunities for process improvement\nManage and design the reporting environment, including data sources and security\nOversee the collection, processing, and interpretation of large sets of data\nDevelop and implement data analytics strategies that enhance business operations\nEnsure that all projects are completed on time and within budget\nMaintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results\nAssess system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements\nDesign and maintain data systems and databases; including fixing coding errors and related problems\nEnsure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and all data collection methods meet legal regulations and standards\nRequirements\nDegree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics\nMinimum 3 years' experience as a Data Analytics Manager or similar role\nStrong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases, and programming\nKnowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy\nExperience in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining, would be advantageous\nProven abilities to take initiative and be innovative\nAnalytical mindset with problem-solving skills\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\n\n
