The Continuous Improvement Leader (DBS Leader) is responsible for partnering with the quality team to drive process improvements and standardization to achieve the organizations key metrics.
This position reports to the Vice President, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs and is part of the quality team located in Deland, Florida (or select other sites_ and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Partner with the quality and operations leadership to enhance functional efficiency, boost productivity, and drive business growth to achieve key organizational objectives through lean process improvement.Directly provide formal and informal DBS (continuous improvement) training and coaching, taking complex internal/external problems – breaking them down and recommending best approach to solution.Drive the kaizen process, including kaizen funnel development, prioritization, resourcing, activation, and execution. Ensure effective sustainment of results and support problem solving as needed to close gaps to targets.Promote and facilitate diagnosis of work-flow impediments and other wastes throughout the business. Provides counsel on appropriate DBS tools to eliminate them.The essential requirements of the job include:
Demonstrated ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a “general manager’s” point of view, and ability to design, develop, and implement a DBS (continuous improvement) roadmap for an operating business.Proven ability to consistently deliver results while influencing leaders without authority. Including but not limited to coaching leaders at different altitudes while driving change and leveraging change management best practices.Demonstrated success in cross-functional teams with ability to work and execute across boundaries and matrices.5+ years of work experience in quality/ manufacturing/ operations, supply chain and/or logistics. 2+ years of experience applying continuous / process improvement methodology such as Lean, or Six Sigma or equivalent experience.BS or BA Degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent experience required.Travel Requirements: if applicable for role
· Ability to travel up to 50%
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Demonstrated commitment to DBS Fundamentals, holding a CP (Certified Practitioner) or ACP (Advanced Certified Practitioner) in VSM (Value Stream Map), TPI (Transactional Process Improvement), PSP (Problem Solving Process), Daily Management, Funnel Management, Growth Room.Quality fundamentals including quality operations, supplier management, risk management, quality engineering, new product introduction, and preventative actions.Manufacturing and business operations, preferably related to filtrationPall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. The salary range for this role is $100K - $150K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
