Job Description:

During the start-up of a capital project and the support of the internal innovation process this position will focus on developing and executing the CVS plan and the initial training of the associates in new processes at the site. This will be measured by learning curve achievement.

What are we looking for?  

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

Proven analytical capability and change management capability

Fluent english verbal and written.

Demonstrated verbal, written and presentation comunication skills

Five or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment with experience in project management or commissioning experience for a major or complex process.

What will be your key responsibilities?  

1. Develop the CVS plan for CAB projects (all major and the applicable small minor projects at the

site).

2. Develop the CVS plan for the internal innovation activities and portfolio changes.

3. Coordinate site CVS activities including allocating resources, leading cross-functional decision-

making teams concerning project activities and maximizing the operational effectiveness of start-

up.

4. Establish and manage the CVS budget for commissioning process of the new projects.

5. Communicate with plant management to ensure appropriate resources are in place.

6. Create standard operating procedures and best practices instructions to maximize operational

effectiveness and manage the flow of new documentation.

7. Transfer equipment knowledge and operation through formal associate training.

8. Attend/support large number of FAT/SATs as needed for projects.

9. Working in partnership with the Project Engineering Manager to ensure the CSF and deliverables in

the scope of the project. Engineering drives the project through Engineering Checkout and the CVS

Manager takes the lead through the Commissioning, Validation and Start-up Phases.

10. Ensure all stakeholders are executing to the master schedule from commissioning to start up.

11. Direct activities and develop CVS leaders as they are assigned to projects (Development plans,

reviews, manage priorities, set direction)
