Among Abbott Diabetes Care leading brands are the FreeStyle Precision, FreeStyle Lite and FreeStyle Libre systems. **Main purpose of the role** Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Applies subject matter knowledge. Requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge. Responsible for maximising the effectiveness of the organisation's supply chain **Main Responsibilities** • Collect and analyse data systems, procedural activities and information flows and assess the efficiency and costs of logistics processes. • Research operational costs, industry and regulatory issues and maintain a current and comprehensive database on which to draw for solutions development. • Use statistical modeling skills to develop, and cost justify logistics solutions to meet agreed customer needs. • Manage inventories and tactical planning, taking into account customer's future needs. • Manage /coordinate inter-company shipments and troubleshooting. **Qualifications & Experience** + Minimum Level 7 NFQ qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline. + Minimum 3 years experience in a calibration/metrology role in the medical / pharmaceutical industry. + Experience managing customs documentation. + Strong knowledge of customs procedures. + Experience managing relationships with external logistics partners. + SAP experience an advantage. **What we Offer** Attractive compensation package that includes competitive pay, as well as benefits such as + Family health insurance + Excellent pension scheme + Life assurance + Career Development + Fantastic new facility + Growing business plus access to many more benefits.
