Within Unilever Supply Chain, Customer Operations is a go to market function which involves managing and optimizing the processes and activities that directly impact customer interactions and satisfaction. The Supply Chain Manager manages the operation of Customer Experience and Physical Operations while coordinates the E2E demand plan and demand fulfilment of the market (in matrix with the Integrated Plan Directors per BU). The Supply Chain Manager is a main Supply Chain interface to the Business Units in the countries and business partnering Customer Development managers.
JOB PURPOSE
The Supply Chain Manager for POLAND focused on operational responsibility for brilliant Customer collaboration, service, logistics, order to cash for customers. Leads to program to get Poland to be the #1 Supplier for our Poland customers. Single point of accountability for Customer Operations in the market. The business in Poland is embarking on the next phase of their iOps journey migrating to UL standard iOps Tech landscape and organisational set-up. Accountable for implementation and finalization of the iOps program. The role Leads the team that unlocks market value through integrated processes, hubs and partners. Business partners CD in the market and member of the country board. Business partnering business team to maximize turnover from SC network. Active member of the Customer Operations LT for Europe able to lead cross markets programs.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Owns the E2E demand plan and demand fulfilment of the market (in matrix with the Integrated Plan Directors per BU) - from order to dispatch to the Customer and tracks performance outcomes with the market. Lead the OpEx LT in market.
Accountable for Customer experience. Interacts with customers from trade promotion management, multiyear customer collaboration program for #1 Supplier, order taking to cash collection.
Accountable for supporting the creation of customer business plans, which once agreed by CD, are executed through guardrails. Accountable for the management of the penalties budget, ensure proper execution of the negotiations.
Accountable for customer operations and trade promotion management within guardrails.
Identifies operational risks that impact growth and cost and provides insights that can be turned into workable solutions.
Accountable with logistics to deliver OTIF to customers, joint work on Cost to Serve, ensuring collaboration of Customer Service and logistics to drive service, value unlocks and the carbon neutral agenda for logistics with partners and customers.
Drive the logistic transformation in market where relevant.
Work jointly with BU on repacking, develop new capabilities where needed, and develop 1 to 3 years savings plans.
Accountable for master data management; implements policies and delivers required financial controls.
Lead process improvements and change management as part of digital and transformation programs.
Adheres to defined guardrails and executes the cost-to-serve strategy.
Deliver iOps transformation OTIF together with global capability & tech teams.
Holds IOPS/hub partners accountable in close collaboration with PDN – innovating to create value within a global framework.
Ensure a strong #1 Supplier program and proactive customer relations and programs.
Ensure a smooth transition and separation of the IC business in Poland.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
8+ years of experience.
Experience in different areas of SC across Make, Source, Plan, Deliver – multifunctional & international experience (CD, Finance, Marketing, R&D) is beneficial.
Experience in leading large teams.
Experience in being a Change Leader – leading diverse teams in landing transformational program.
Outcome-driven with proven track record in driving results across the ecosystem.
High business acumen - good understanding of end-to-end process and key cycles with the local business.
Track record in ‘Operations’; and creating value with Partners.
