Key Responsibilities:
Driving marketing strategies through sales teams for all major brands in therapy areas like Thyroid, Infertility, Gastro, Influenza, Vertigo etc. to deliver on top line, bottom line and EI for regions managed.Finance & budgetary controls and business planning - Engage in initiatives to improve brand mix, profitability & utmost control on operational costs, with strong customer focus while working on organic growth.Seamless coordination with distributors in managing the in-market demand, optimum inventory levels, optimum non-saleable returns, and account receivables.Responsible for sales operations with multiple therapies of Abbott EPD (with an understanding of Regulatory, Labour Union, Medical and Legal frameworks of assigned markets), P&L & Multi-country responsibility i.e., for Nepal and Bhutan.Driving country specific strategies to strengthen and drive multi-therapy leadership.Needs to locally handle Regulatory processes through collaboration with multiple offsite and onsite stakeholders to ensure business continuity and introduction of new products. Regulatory and Medical coordination for effectively managing operational requirements locally in sync with HO stakeholders and local Nepal Regulatory/Government/Other authorities as appliable.Resource allocation, Sales Force Deployment, Talent Management, Training & development, Territory coverage and Key account development nation-wide.The position entails responsibility of representing Abbott in Nepal to local regulators, government authorities, labour union authorities and managing other public affairs as authorized.Ensure cordial labour relations and compliance for AIL in Nepal, in sync with local labour unions and authorities.Reviewing growth opportunities, building institution and tender business, increase portfolio breadth and depth and accelerating key brands to meet AILs growth strategy
