Primary Role

A global organization looking for a strong leader to manage the Malaysia & Singapore F&B business for growth and profitability. The current size of the business is $3M with an aggressive growth plan over the next 3 years. As a key member of the regional leadership team, assist in setting and delivering the strategy for the organization, with complete P&L responsibility for the Malaysia & Singapore F&B business. The incumbent will be responsible for driving profitable business growth by managing and growing existing business, in addition to ensuring growth in new business. To achieve this, the incumbent will be required to develop effective business retention and growth strategies, while ensuring strong relationships with key stakeholders within the specified region. The incumbent will further be responsible for nurturing and developing the talent pool in the specified region. This role will report into the Business Director, F&B Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities:

Strategic focus: Develop and deliver growth plan for the region - top line revenue and profitability

People management: Effectively manage a team to drive performance, work culture and ensure growth targets are met

Stakeholder management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a sense of loyalty to the business

Business development: Collaborate with the technical team to expand the business in strategic focus areas

Customer satisfaction: Actively collaborate with supporting functions e.g. Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, HR etc. to ensure customer needs are met and delivered upon within expected timeframes

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or Postgraduate degree in engineering, food science, chemistry or any related technical qualification. (MBA would be an additional advantage).

Min 10 years’ experience in a technical sales role with management experience at a senior level. Proven track record of sales growth.

P&L understanding is critical.

Food & Beverage manufacturing process

Good command of the English language is mandatory
