About Oracle's Global Procurement Legal Team:
The Global Procurement Legal Team within Oracle's legal department is responsible for providing legal support for complex software license, hardware systems and services transactions with Oracle suppliers. Corporate Counsel work closely with Oracle executives to complete agreements between Oracle and its strategic suppliers. Corporate Counsel coordinate the efforts of various internal organizations to ensure that Oracle contracts comply with company policies, and take a leadership role in defining policies, practices, and procedures within the company. Experience with commercial transactions involving collocation data center and network services agreements is preferred but not required.
As an Attorney with Oracle:
As an individual contributor in the Global Procurement Legal Team, you will join a collaborative group of attorneys with an interesting and diverse technology law practice focusing on transactions involving cloud computing, proprietary and open source software licensing, software hosting, professional consulting services, business process outsourcing, data privacy/security, as well as general corporate matters. Accordingly, this position is best suited to an attorney with significant commercial negotiating and contracting experience who has the ability to manage a variety of tasks, evaluate alternatives quickly, and provide top quality legal assistance and support to executive-level clients. Experience with commercial transactions involving collocation data center and network services agreements is preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant legal experience. Experience with commercial transactions involving is highly preferred. Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative, and dynamic team environment. Strong fiduciary focus. Effective interpersonal and cross-organizational communication and collaboration skills. Ability to be versatile, pragmatic and creative in identifying and assessing risks, and developing sustainable, practical solutions that balance business and legal considerations. Demonstrated ability to learn new issues and subject areas quickly, manage competing priorities and maintain good judgment when working in a fast paced environment. Outstanding writing and oral communication skills. Admission to practice law in the country in which the candidate resides.
