Acting as a key SME in our broader Digital Core transformation, you will navigate and influence PLM decisions that span across all Mars Inc.'s business segments, including Mars Petcare, Snacking, and Food & Nutrition. As a cPLM Technical Senior Analyst, you will be at the forefront of business transformation, playing a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and documenting cPLM business requirements. Your expertise will translate these requirements into actionable technical specifications, ensuring that our innovative solutions meet the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with a talented team of professionals, including system integrators and stakeholders, to prioritize technical backlogs and drive the success of our digital initiatives. 

What are we looking for? 

We are seeking passionate individuals who are eager to innovate and excel in a collaborative environment. Here’s what you need to bring to the table: 

Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a relevant field (e.g., R&D) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical analyst roles. 

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SAP PLM, S4/Hana Cloud, RISE Hosting, SAP BTP, and related integrations with ERP, MDG, label management, innovation, CAD, and other applications. 

Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of PLM technologies and their application in meeting business needs, particularly in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and related process industries. 

Analytical Skills: Strong experience in digital R&D, requirement gathering, and technical specification creation, with a focus on PLM transformation programs. 

Innovative Mindset: Ability to think creatively and strategically to evolve PLM solutions and enhance user experiences through technology. 

What will be your key responsibilities? 

Lead Technical Requirements for PLM 

Collaborate: Work closely with stakeholders from the PLM DevOps team, including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Solution Architects, and Software Engineers, to gather and document business requirements. 

Liaison: Serve as the bridge between business units and development teams, translating complex business needs into clear technical specifications and facilitating seamless communication. 

Innovate: Identify and present opportunities for process and technical improvements across the PLM tool ecosystem to key stakeholders, including the PLM Digital Director and Corporate PLM Portfolio Owner. 

Design & Implement: Support end-to-end solution design and implementation, ensuring alignment between business needs and PLM system capabilities while optimizing system configurations and integrations. 

Digital PLM Stakeholder Collaboration 

Prioritize: Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize PLM and Innovation Systems features, functionalities, and enhancements, actively participating in project meetings and coordination efforts. 

Coordinate: Play a critical role in testing phases and support change management efforts, ensuring a smooth transition and knowledge transfer as part of Service Introduction processes.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.  Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).  Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
