**What does the role entail?**

A Cook II requires good communication and culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have hotel cooking experience and a culinary degree. A Cook II should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. Cook II will work single stations in the kitchen and omelet station. Will need to multi-task, cooking for areas such as Banquets and Outlets.

**Qualifications**
+ A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
+ Refined verbal communication skills.
+ 2 years of previous line experience preferred.
+ Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
+ Able to work single station in the kitchen.
+ Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
+ Grilling and sauté station experience required.
+ Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
+ Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
+ Must have physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate amounts of weight.
+ California Food Handlers Certification required.
