The SG&A Controller for North America Diagnostics is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of Selling, General & Administrative expenses, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and collaboration with various business units to drive efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in financial reporting and planning.

Financial Analyst for the North America Diagnostics SG&A, responsible for reporting, planning, forecasting, and analysis (~$225M USD).Compilation of Monthly North America Diagnostics SG&A Business Review deck, including Executive Summary.Lead the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes for SG&A expenses across multiple business units.SG&A Headcount and cost reporting, forecasting, and submitting to performance controlling, including consolidations and checks.Provide in-depth variance analysis on SG&A costs, identifying key drivers and areas for optimization.Marketing program expense tracking and reporting.Ad-hoc SG&A analysis to support strategic decision-making.Collaborate with sales, bid, and strategy teams to align SG&A budgets with business objectives.Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting SG&A expenditures and cost allocations.Work closely with business unit leaders and regional management to establish achievable financial targets.Support in completing the monthly forecast templates for SG&A by function and cost centre.Prepare presentations and reports for senior management, highlighting financial trends, risks, and opportunities.Align with global finance teams for accurate consolidation and reporting of SG&A expenses.Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data and analysis.Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency in SG&A reporting and controlling.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to SG&A and provide insights for strategic decision-making.Utilize financial systems such as SAP and Jedox for accurate data analysis and reporting.Interface with Marketing, Performance Controlling, and FP&A groups to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial planning.Ensure compliance with IFRS and company-specific financial reporting guidelines.Other duties as assigned.Required skills to have for the success of this roleBachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and related area(s)5-8+ years in relevant field, balanced against relevant Siemens’s experienceDemonstrated understanding of accounting and finance principles.  MBA and/or CPA preferred, is an assetStrong analytical and financial skills, with ability to apply problem solving techniques, creativity, and critical thinking to drive continuous improvementEffective communicator with team members and with Senior level managementStrong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with and influence all levels from individual contributors to executives, including those who are more technically focusedAbility to build effective strategy (both with our customers and internally) and couple it with executionDemonstrated ownership and accountabilityDemonstrated strong change management capabilityProven ability to manage projects/tasks to ensure timely delivery with high quality resultsSelf-starter, capable of bringing projects to a successful conclusion with minimal supervisionProject management, business process reengineering knowledgeExperience with digitalization and business process improvementProven ability to work with business analytics tools, dashboards, conduct data analysis, and drive implementation of improvement projectsAbility to evaluate and support implementation of new toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExpertise within the Microsoft Office suite of products is necessary; power apps preferredTravel required, estimated 5%

The base pay range for this position is

Min $92,900 - Max $139,300

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
