Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities :
We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative CONTACT Project Office / CONTACT PLM Engineer with solid experience in CONTACT Software’s CIM Database platform, specifically the Project Office module, and a strong background in Python development. In this role, you will drive process optimization, project management digitization, and PLM system integration within cross-functional engineering and product teams.
Educational qualification:
University degrees at bachelor level in Computer Science / Software Engineering
Experience :
Must have 4-7 years relevant expertise.
Hands-on experience is mandatory with CONTACT CIM Database, especially Project Office.
Strong Python programming skills for scripting, automation, or system extensions.
Familiarity with product lifecycle and project management principles.
Understanding of REST APIs and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
Mandatory/requires Skills :
Configure and maintain CONTACT Project Office for project planning, milestones, resource management, and reporting.
Customize workflows, dashboards, and project templates in the CONTACT PLM ecosystem.
Develop Python-based scripts, extensions, or tools to automate PLM-related tasks and integrations.
Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to align project tracking tools with PLM processes.
Implement and support system integrations (e.g., with ERP, CAD, Jira) using APIs and middleware.
Support end users with training, troubleshooting, and best practices for project and product data management.
Assist in PLM roadmap development and participate in agile/scrum teams for continuous system improvement.
