Summary of Role

The role of the Commercial Travel Seller Lead, Meta Region is focused on driving new sales and acquisition opportunities within the META region, working closely with the broader Amadeus team to define strategies and close deals. They are responsible for managing renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities by identifying potential business growth areas. The role also involves ensuring high customer satisfaction through early product adoption and usage, monitoring key metrics, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve any issues or risks. Additionally, the Commercial Manager acts as a spokesperson for Outpayce, representing the company at key events and strengthening relationships with customers, partners, and industry players. They also keep customers informed on fintech, payments trends, and regulatory changes, acting as a trusted advisor to support their success.

In this role, you'll find a chance to:

Drive new sales

Identify new sales/acquisition opportunities in strong cooperation with the broader Amadeus team in the region. Define the deal strategy, approach, and value for the specific customer segment, type, and profile. Prospect, follow-up, and close a windfall of deals.

Sign renewals and upsells

Identify new upsell and/or cross-sell opportunities from our portfolio of payout and merchant services. Work closely with our customer adoption teams to identify tangible opportunities to support our customers' business.

Ensure customer satisfaction and P&L impact via early & ideal product adoption/usage

Work with all the stakeholders on the customer side to ensure high customer satisfaction. Identify potential risks early, elaborate remediation plans, and execute them as soon as possible. Ensure that the gross revenues and gross margin of our customers are in line with or above the budget and in line with contracted volumes.

Drive customer alignment and goal-setting for Payments solutions

Co-create a success charter with the customer for product usage. Anticipate what is needed at the usage/adoption stage in terms of processes and project management.

Manage ongoing customer health

Proactively review key metrics, reach out whenever they drop below target, and resolve problems to drive adoption. Manage recurring (monthly, mid-year, and annual) business reviews to discuss whether Outpayce is progressing toward value and identify opportunities for improvement. Play a coordinating support role whenever a customer runs into project/technical challenges by activating individuals with relevant expertise to address these and feeding back progress updates.

Resolve important issues or claims related to the customer lifecycle

Fast resolution of important issues or claims for the customer related to the customer life cycle. The role requires close cooperation with Customer Care, Delivery & Implementation, Adoption Stream, Product, and Partners involved.

Support key partnerships in the META region

Act as the entry point for local partners in the META region and/or cross-sell opportunities from our portfolio of payout and merchant services. Work closely with our customer adoption teams to identify tangible opportunities to support our customers' business.

Act as Outpayce spokesperson and participate in events in META

As part of the role, this person will assume the responsibility to represent Outpayce as the spokesperson both internally at key events in the META region as well as externally with customers, partners, and industry partners.

Stay informed on trends and act as a trusted advisor

Develop and deepen relationships with customers by staying updated on the latest trends in fintech, payout payments, travel technology, and Outpayce product evolution. Keep track of changes in the competitive environment and payment regulations (e.g., PSD, Interchange) to ensure customers benefit from the most relevant and current insights. A successful Commercial Manager will act as a trusted advisor to the customer accounts in charge.
