Job Overview

This position is responsible for managing new innovation project activation, ensure end-to-end supply chain resiliency of co-manufacturing product supply, price negotiation and contract management. He/She will work closely with strategic sourcing manager to ensure the efficient and effective execution of the sourcing strategy into responsible units. This role will also lead the factory activity management to support the implementation of customer units’ activities and projects for both NPD and DiB initiatives. In addition, this role act as a first line of escalation on issues between co-manufactures and the business. As a result of this, this role will hold the supplier relationship management in the aspect of operational level in order to deliver the value chain optimization in total value to business.  

This position is expected to collaborate cross functionally within organization as well as relevant external organizations and associates to achieve the agreed business goals. He/she will also be the representative of commercial team in S&OP+ as designated in local, regional, or global venues.

The role is based at BKK with regular travel to related co-manufacturers in Thailand or occasionally to the customer units.

What are we looking for?

5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.

Skilled negotiator who is passionate about product quality.

Bachelor's degree at a minimum.

What will be your key responsibilities?

You will work to reduce the cost of maintaining existing equipment.

Partnering with vendors to negotiate discounts and find the lowest cost material without sacrificing on quality standards.

You will also manage local big packages for assigned product categories, including the bid review/evaluation process, supplier selection, and rebating.
