Job Description and Accountabilities

\n\nEnsure all transactions (revenues, provisions, operating expenses etc) are recorded properly and in accordance with the definition set on DPDHL Accounting Manual and International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS).\nReview general or nominal ledger entries regularly to minimize if not eliminate adjusting entries and to detect any under or over statement of expenses on time.\nAnalyze and compare month on month expenses to attain uniform distribution of cost during the year and make an accrual when appropriate to have consistency in reporting expenses.\nPrepare schedules to support balance sheet accounts and ensure that these are reconciled against general or nominal ledger balances immediately after month-end closing (i.e. fixed assets, prepayments, payroll reconciliation, accruals, duty transitory, GRIR reconciliation & etc). Back up all files as part of the disaster recovery plan.\nEnsure preparation and distribution of required financial and accounting reports, including management information, in a timely manner. Ensure that all reporting deadlines are consistently met.\nOrganize and plans work schedules independently to meet service delivery level with minimum guidance and able to take appropriate actions to resolve issues independently without much supervision.\nPlan, manage and control cost-effective delivery of services.\nManage and sustain supervisory and quality review / verification as per global SOPs, network policies and required controls (CRISP and external audit controls) to ensure controls are strictly compliant as well as to achieve center’s auditKPI.\nCollaborate with all functions and support each function in ensuring process compliance and continuous service excellence.\nTake ownership of escalation or handle critical concerns raised by the business.\nSupport the development of future process experts.\nRegularly review KPIs or performance indicators\nIdentify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.\nPeriodically review manpower needs and back-up plans for each team to ensure seamless delivery to business partners.\nSupport new and existing team members through proper knowledge transfer; sharing of resources, knowledge,experience and best practice thereby ensuring quality is maintained through staff transition.\nSupport team member as and when needed, showing monitoring abilities as well as management and motivation of the team members.\nTimely updates / modify RTR Process documents / CRISP control documents to align RTR processes and are compliance and adhere to GOM.\nAssist in project rollout, testing and guide the team on project implementation from service line perspective.\nConsolidate & present Service Performance Review deck to Business Partners together with preparing minutes /outcome of the SPR discussion.\nWork according to Internal Controls / CRISP requirements, handle audit query and provide mitigation plan whereneeded.\nProactively identify process improvement opportunities and discuss with the business partners.\nReview IRM's / Issue Log regularly and follow-up on the open items to resolve issues in a timely manner.\nReview Balance Sheet accounts are properly reconciled on a monthly basis with team, proactively discuss and follow with the business partner and clear the aged items.\n

Educational Qualifications

\n\nDegree Holder or equivalent by experience.\n\n

Expected years of experience

\n\nAt least 5 years above of work experience, preferably in a finance environment (similar or comparable position in a Shared
Service Centre is an advantage)\n\n
