Tasks

We are seeking a skilled and experienced API Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of critical APIs within  Bosch Development Cloud - a customized software development environment hosted in Microsoft Azure CloudDesign, develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger specificationsDevelop and maintain detailed API documentationCollaborate with development teams and other stakeholders across BDC to understand requirements and translate them into effective API designsImplement and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform) for API infrastructure within the Azure environmentIntegrate APIs with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deploymentUtilize Git for version control and code managementTroubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, working effectively with internal teams.Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the API platform within the Bosch Development CloudImplement and maintain security best practices throughout the API development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Bosch standards and relevant regulationsParticipate in code reviews to ensure high code qualityStay current with relevant technologies in API development and cloud computing

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in developing and maintaining RESTful APIsProficiency in PowerShell and JavaScript programmingExperience with Azure Cloud services, including infrastructure, deployment, and managementWorking experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Strong understanding of Git version controlExperience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including creating and maintaining pipelinesBasic understanding of PostgreSQL database conceptExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Enthusiastic, proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and a strong team player. A willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
