Cloud Asset Management Engineer

Analyze results of assessments, reports, tests and other verifications of assets
Review scan data to identify and report new findings
Research and investigate new and emerging threats and vulnerabilities
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure remediation of identified vulnerabilities within noted timeframes and in adherence with information security policies
Facilitate resolution of issues and roadblocks, escalate delays in a timely, strategic manner utilizing project management techniques and methods
Provide key stakeholders with regular updates on the progress, key blockers, dependencies, target dates
Collect and aggregate information from a variety of sources and produce actionable reports and metrics
Work with other Engineers to validate that data from internal and external sources is relevant, trustworthy and actionable and ensure the platform provides required data and level of granularity
Seek opportunities for additional responsibilities and growth within the organization. Show initiative and enthusiasm in suggesting and implementing new concepts or ideas for improvement.
Flexibility working with overseas teams during off-hours
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT, Information Security, Knowledgeable and deep understanding of vulnerability and risk management Ability to analyze vulnerabilities and summarize data into executive reports Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Ability to remain flexible and maintain high-quality output in a fast-changing, demanding environment Knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements (PCI, ISO, etc.) Experience with tools like Qualys, Splunk, Tanium, Illumio, JIRA, and Confluence is a plus Experience with data gathering, filtering and manipulation using Python
