Are you ready to hit the open road with one of the world's most recognised and award-winning supply chain leaders? DHL is searching for passionate Class 1 Drivers to become an essential part of our dynamic Tradeteam distribution service!

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

\n\nMulti drop delivery of products to customers premises, delivering bulk loads, picked directly from vehicle for delivery to customer (covering: Reading, Luton and London areas)\n2 person driving team - 2nd driver/drivers mate will be allocated\nDrive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations\nComply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations\nCount and check all products, compare to manifest and complete a visual check for any anomalies and damages\nWorking in a physically demanding environment in a safe manner \nMay include weekend work - Overtime rate will be payable for weekend work\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nMinimum of 6 months Class 1 driving experience is essential\nMust hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E)\nDriver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card\nNo (zero) points on your licence\nAble to comply with the physically demanding environment (hand balling)\nAble to handle alcohol (delivering kegs, spirits and confectionary)\nFamiliar with vehicle safety checks \nHappy with working hours (early start times) and multi-drops\n\n
