**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our **Tashkent** location in the EPD Division.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
+ Adjustments of accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
+ Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial statement preparation, reconciliation, and analysis.
+ Review and approve journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
+ Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning.
+ Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
+ Monitor plan vs actual
+ Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions and initiatives.
+ Responsibility for other countries Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan: control and supporting month-end closing processes
+ People management and development and successor planning
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a relevant field
+ Upper intermediate English – speaking, writing
+ 2+Experience in people management, able to motivate the team and lead by example
+ Minimum 5 years' experience in the same role
+ Extensive corporate and accounting/ tax experience
+ Must have knowledge: IFRS, PL, balance sheet
+ Communication skills
