Within the Vehicle Motion Division we design and develop state-of-the art safety and motion solutions for passenger cars, light trucks, and up to medium heavy truck. Vehicle Motion provides solutions for mobility through steering, braking, occupant safety, and vehicle dynamic sensors.  Vehicle Motion is also a leader in the software and services that will support the future of Software Defined Vehicles. 

Job Description

In this internship, you will be supporting Rollout of the Vehicle Motion NA Problem Solving Initiative. 

Tasks/Support Items:

Follow-up of audit findings for Plymouth, MI locations - scheduling, tracking, reportingImplementation of Bundesliga Score across all plants- grow out competition across plants for quality assurance to breed excellence. You will support in the creation of this initiative. Data mining and cost collection (Internal Defect Cost) 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in an engineering related field. 3.0 GPA minimumMotivated individual that does not need constant overwatchSkills in digital tools (Power BI, AI, Data Analysis, User Experience Design, etc.)Proficient in MS applicationsStrong communication skillsStrong collaborator that enjoys being challenged
