Call for Technical Experts, USAID/Kenya – Digital Health Ecosystem Activity

This
Opportunity:
Palladium is
seeking long-term Technical Experts for the anticipated USAID Kenya Digital
Health Ecosystem Activity, which will be a 5-Year USAID-funded program with the
goal to improve the availability and quality of healthcare services using one
national integrated and comprehensive digital health ecosystem in Kenya. The
program will achieve this by increasing country ownership and management of one
national integrated and comprehensive sector-wide health information ecosystem
to achieve health systems outcomes of equity, quality, and resources
optimization.
The program's
objectives may comprise the following three areas:
Sub purpose II: Enhanced digital health ecosystem’s vision, strategy, and governance capacity.
Sub purpose III: Strengthened strategic partnerships and collaborations to sustain investments in the digital health ecosystem.
This is an
anticipated project, and all positions are contingent upon award from
USAID.
Reporting
and Supervision:
The
position holders will report to the DCOP/Technical Director. S/he will also
work very closely with the Palladium agile team in Nairobi, Kenya and the
different technical teams relevant to her/his portfolio.
Primary
Duties and Responsibilities:
Palladium is
seeking multiple experts within the sectors of health informatics, data science,
public health, or related to provide technical leadership in the areas of:
Data Science and Analytics.
Interoperability and Standards.
Digital Health Governance and Compliance.
Strategic Information.
Global Health Security.
Strategic Partnership Management.
Key
Competencies Required:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field of expertise.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with USAID or other donor-funded programs.
Prior experience working in Kenya is required. Experience working with the Kenyan government preferred.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Full professional proficiency in English and Swahili is required.
