Job DescriptionDevelopment & calibration of Anti-Lock Brakes System (ABS), Traction Control System (TCS), Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) and/or value added functions (VAF) in close collaboration with individual UK car manufacturers and to their requirements.Testing, calibrating and verifying the software and calibration in test vehicles and via simulation.Taking part in numerous tests trips all over Europe (including Germany, Sweden, Spain, Italy).Travelling and working for periods at our headquarters in Abstatt, Germany to build up a network there and gain the knowledge you need to be effect in your role.Your responsible for the process oriented handling of all changes during the project life timeYou are supporting the Project management with your expertiseQualificationsDegree in a relevant engineering subject i.e. Automotive, Mechanical, Electronics or significant relevant experience.Understanding of vehicle dynamics and control engineering.Strong analytical skills.Commitment to delivering customer requirements for economic and high quality solutions.Good collaboration, cooperation and interpersonal skills.Good standard of written and spoken EnglishAble to travel locally and internationally as the required in the role, to fulfil customer requirements and develop your capability.As well as strong technical and professional competency you will have the excellent entrepreneurial, leadership and interpersonal skills required including:Results orientated; with a desire to exceed targets (entrepreneurial mindset and customer orientated).Good interpersonal/communication skillsUse analytical skills in order to solve complex tasks and takes sound decisions (problem solving abilty).Use and maintain learning strategies for personal and professional growthAdditional InformationThis role will be based in Nuneaton, on a hybrid working pattern of a minimum of two days in the office a week.
