TE Connectivity’s IT Business Analysis Teams assess complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. They provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. They also configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing, create specifications for systems to meet business requirements and design details of automated systems. At times, TE’s IT Business Analysis Teams may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems and lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
The business transformation IT director is dedicated to monitoring customer satisfaction and understanding and relaying customer needs to the rest of the TE business stakeholders.
This role is tethered between the Enterprise Center of Excellence (CoEs) and the Business stakeholders at strategic and tactical levels, ensuring that IT and business collaborate & align Digital roadmaps in each function to endure strategic alignment and meet the Automotive BU business needs.
Main Responsibilities:
create a methodical identification, analysis, management, monitoring and improvement of stakeholder relationships to target and improve mutually beneficial outcomes in the area of Global IT Ensure customers’ priorities for new or changed products and services, in alignment with desired business outcomes, are effectively established and articulated. Ensure conflicting stakeholder requirements across Global Automotive are mediated appropriately. Handle stakeholders’ complaints and escalations well through a sympathetic (yet formal) process. Track customer and technology trends that could impact customer perception and service provision. Management of Transformation Manager, managing a team of 5 team members across different functional areas including : Engineering, PJM, Digital Factory, Supply Chain, Sales and Quality
Role is Remote travel as needed. Could be filled in Europe, Americas and ASIA!
Other Responsibilities: Responsible for demand management of IT project portfolio Responsible for establishing IT Global Auto Roadmap, continuously evaluating and improving the gaps. Ensures business objectives are translated into digital strategies. Work with digital technology leaders to establish and maintain roadmap that is aligned with business goals. Deeper understanding of overall technology stack. Good expertise in Enterprise applications, Data, Analytics, App development, Automation, AI & cloud technologies. Leads the process to identify and evaluate internal digital asset capabilities and strengths. Assesses external digital opportunities and threats as key inputs to making the best decisions on business strategy, given digital realities. Defines and reports on digital business KPIs and metrics that represent progress against digital goals. Builds and maintains external relationships in academia, as well as with industry bodies, vendors and technology analysts to learn and influence. Partners with the HR function to build digital talent in the enterprise. Builds a culture and talent for working digitally. Accountable for establishing end to end integration, building Integration between Core Systems (ERP, CPR, Windchill…) and Micro Apps. Managing portfolio of digital programs or projects and associated budget.
