Design, develop and maintain solutions to automate business processes and drive efficiency as part of Financial Systems team.
Drive efficiency and reliability by automating manual business processes and integrating financial systems with each other and various external systems using information technology techniques, tools and platforms that include but not limited to:AlteryxProgramming languages (SQL, Python, PowerShell)Data Reporting and Analysis PlatformsREST API, systems native API, Web ServicesDesign, program, simulate, test, deploy, monitor and maintain business process automation solutions, system interfaces and integrationsInteract with business process owners to identify new opportunities for automation, understand and develop automation requirements and transform them into effective, stable, scalable and maintainable long-term technology solutionsLead cross-departmental efforts to help automate business processes spanning across teams and systems.Perform root cause analysis and resolve problemsDevelop and maintain clear, accurate documentation and manuals of automated processes, interfaces and integrationsManage overall solutions life cycle using applicable IT technics, best practices and approachesInsure smooth transition of automation solutions to ongoing support phase, assist with support activities as neededProvide training and guidance to others, if requiredRequired Skills
Creative, self-driven technology professional that thrives in financial technology environment cultivating new ideas to optimize, eliminate and automate manual, redundant, inefficient business processes by leveraging information technology to achieve greater operational efficiencies and reduce costBachelor or college degree in computer science, software development, system automation, finance, business administration or equivalent work experience in IT or finance/accounting automating business processeBasic understanding of accountingHighly organized with excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong attention to details with a desire to achieve resultsAble to set and manage priorities, work, learn and discover independentlyProactive, fair, discreet, reliable, diplomatic and approachableExcellent written and communication skills, able to develop close communications and relationships with colleagues throughout the companyUnderstands and respects local cultural differences and customs, able to adapt to changing environmentKnowledge of accounting, financial processes and systems, respective work experience is a plusWork experience in business process outsourcing and shared service centre environments is a plusEnglish fluency (written and spoken) is mandatoryGeneral Information
