Key Responsibilities:

The Business Systems Analyst analyses, designs, and implements business systems and processes to improve efficiency and meet organizational goals. This role combines the functions of a Business Analyst and a System Analyst, involving assessing business needs, gathering and documenting requirements, defining the system’s architecture and components, designing technical solutions, assisting in project planning and scope definition, and coordinating system implementations. The Business Systems Analyst liaises between business units and IT, ensuring that technology solutions align with business objectives. The analyst is also responsible for keeping track of the project status and communicating technical requirements.Strategy Development & PlanningCreate functional and technical specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams.Analyse current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.Develop and propose solutions to optimize business processes and enhance system functionality.Create process models and diagrams to illustrate current and future state processes.Design and document system solutions that meet business requirements and align with IT standards.Develop system architecture and design documentation, including data models and workflow diagrams.Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides and technical manuals.Work with leadership to develop budgets for IT projects and ensure that resources are allocated efficiently.

Resource Acquisition & ManagementProvide input to project plans related to the requested application.

Accountability & Quality AssuranceOversee the implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing systems.Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet business requirements.Assist in the planning and managing IT projects, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and project managers.Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system-related issues.Ensure that systems comply with organizational security policies and industry regulations.Implement and monitor security measures to protect systems and data from threats.Develop and deliver training materials, including user manuals and online resources.Continuously review and refine systems based on performance feedback and changing business requirements.

Capacity BuildingProvide client support, consultation, and subject matter expertise for system development, maintenance, and support.

Networking & CoordinationCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business and system requirements.Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to elicit and document requirements.Coordinate with IT teams and vendors to ensure successful system integration and deployment.Work with IT support teams to resolve complex technical problems and ensure system reliability.

Management & LeadershipBuild and maintain a positive spirit of teamwork with other staff in respective units and departments.Implement all activities aligned with WV Indonesia’s Child Protection Policy and Standard, including regularly participating in CP awareness and training and responding to child protection incidents promptly and appropriately.Submit monthly reports timely

Qualifications :Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Degrees in Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Data Science are also relevant.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a combined Business Analyst/System Analyst role or similar roles.Certifications that enhance credibility and skills: Familiarity with project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello) & Certified Scrum Master (CSM)ITIL Foundation CertificationProfessional Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, as necessaryCritical thinking and creativity.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.Knowledge of business analysis techniques.Familiarity with industry-specific tools and practices.Extensive knowledge of programming languages and technologies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proficiency in system analysis tools and methodologies and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).Knowledge of business process modeling techniques and tools (e.g., BPMN) is a plus.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Ability to use and manage GIT to store the source codeAbility to work with SCRUM project styleONLY a shortlist of applicants will be contacted.WVI implements a Safeguarding Policy as a form of our commitment to protect children and adult beneficiaries.
