Job Title: Business Processes Senior Consultant 

Location: Newtown Square, PA 

Work Model: Hybrid work model 

 

Purpose and Objective:   

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to leverage SAP Analytics platform architecture and its relevant components, including data loads, data transfer, data modelling, and warehouse management for comprehensive solution support operations.  

 

Expectations and Tasks:  

Drive the analysis of system landscape, technical issues and assessment of core business processes for new generation SAP products such as Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud and/or Group Reporting. Provide customer feedback to development based on delivery analysis of functional gaps via SAP services and work with development to close gaps. Implement specific best practice operations scenarios, including developing training, specifications and documentation. Ensure that services and documentation are available and up-to-date for the respective area of expertise and deliver root cause analysis, performance optimization, and assessments for SAP Analytics and Business Planning & Consolidation solutions.  

 

Education and Occupational Experience:  

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 

 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:  

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:  

Perform solution support development and analysis in SAP’s Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) within SAP Business Warehouse (BW); 

Analyze and evaluate new or existing SAP BW configurations and strategies based on customer system requirements; 

Convert customer system requirements into viable solution support blueprints; 

Determine and implement SAP Best Practices for enhanced solution architecture, development, and configuration of BW data store objects (DSOs), transformations, and extractors;  

Create BW extractors, data models, and BEx queries using SAP LSA; and 

Perform SAP BW trainings. 

  

Travel: Position requires up to 30% domestic travel to various and unanticipated customer sites nationwide.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,611 - $171,700. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,611 - $202,000. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
