Position Overview:

This is a P&L-driven role requiring strong command over global sourcing, B2B distribution, and end-to-end commodity trade execution within the industrial chemicals landscape. You will be responsible for identifying suppliers, negotiating deals, and ensuring seamless execution of transactions, all while maintaining regulatory compliance and maximizing trading margins.

Key Role Requirements:

5+ years of experience in importing and trading industrial chemicals within the Indian market Demonstrated ability to independently manage a profitable trading book with minimal oversight Strong network of buyers across consuming industries (e.g., paints & coatings, plastics, adhesives, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, etc.) Experience dealing with global suppliers (Asia, Europe, Middle East) including price negotiations, quality standards, and payment terms Solid understanding of DGFT policies, customs processes, REACH, and other import regulations related to chemical trading Keen insight into market dynamics, pricing trends, customer procurement cycles, and currency impacts Hands-on experience working with logistics, warehousing, finance, and compliance teams to drive operational efficiency
