The Role

The position will require a dynamic and results-driven individual in the role of Business Development Manager, to represent and expand our sales across the DACH markets. The successful candidate will develop relationships with travel partners, tour operators, corporate accounts, and travel agencies to drive growth and revenue for our all-inclusive properties. This is a strategic role requiring a blend of sales expertise, market knowledge, and relationship-building skills

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to increase awareness and bookings from DACH marketsIdentify new business opportunities within leisure, corporate, and group sectorsMonitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edgeBuild and nurture strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and other key partnersReport to management on trends and market developmentsLead sales presentations, training sessions, and FAM (familiarization) trips to promote Hyatt’s all-inclusive portfolioAct as the primary point of contact for partners, providing timely support and solutions to ensure satisfactionDrive incremental revenue by leveraging existing partnerships and forging new alliances.Meet or exceed sales targets by developing tailored packages, offers, and promotions for key market segments.Analyze sales performance data and report on KPIs, providing actionable insights to senior managementRepresent Hyatt All-Inclusive Hotels at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions in the assigned markets.Act as an ambassador for the brand, showcasing the unique value and experiences of the all-inclusive offeringWork closely with the global sales team to align regional efforts with overall brand strategy.Liaise with marketing teams to ensure campaigns and materials resonate with the DACH audienceDemonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values (included in all job descriptions).The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Required Skills

Education: Degree level qualification or equivalentExperience:Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships in DACH markets.Management experience required.Exceptionally strong interpersonal skillsStrong organization and time management skillsDemonstrated analytical skills with ability to independently gather, collate, validate and analyze dataProven ability of generating and increasing sales in given territoryAdvanced MS Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel salesforce a mustLanguage: Proficiency in English and German required, additional European languages are an advantage.Characteristics:Strong management skills including superior written and verbal communication skills.Must have solid understanding and experience in hospitality industry.Must have high attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong Interpersonal skills and results driven.Successful budget planning and administration skillsStrong negotiation and analytical skillsAbility to present to large audiences (50-350 travel agents) required.Ability to work well under pressure.Takes initiative.Travel a must.Strong team PlayerValid passport and ability to travel required.Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and power point presentation or database applications
