Business Analytics Analyst

Career Architecture Title:  HIH – Business Analytics Analyst

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Business Analytics Analyst to work alongside a U.S.-based team to ensure that our databases and applications are synchronized and reflect accurate information concerning our healthcare providers and their associations with various health systems.

Additionally, you will ensure that our applications reflect the latest rate sheets which determine how billions of dollars in medical spend are modeled and accounted for in our forecasting tools.

You will help lead reconciliation efforts and drive clear communication across our teams while working collaboratively to resolve observed inconsistencies.

Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and creative drive will be critical to success.

Responsibilities  

< >Manage and maintain data consistency across applicationsPerform data comparisons and communicate/resolve inconsistencies Lead monthly review sessions with U.S.-based teams to maintain shared line of sight to the most accurate provider associations and rate sheetsPeriodically review projections with U.S.-based teams and gradually expand competencies to include claim match processes for assigned markets and health systems Participate in projects to help enhance system capabilities and make recommendations on how to improve systems and/or processes

Required Education

< >Bachelor’s degree involving quantitative skills (Finance, Economics, Business, Health Policy Analysis, Healthcare Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics)1-3+ years of work experienceStrong communication skills (written, oral, and group presentations)Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines 

Technical Requirements

< >Familiarity with data mining and reporting tools, such as Microsoft Excel and Access 

Desired Experience and Skills

< >Previous experience working on medical economics-related initiatives (Unit Costs, Medical or Pharmacy Cost Trend drivers, etc.) Experience working with claim data and familiarity with standard medical coding: CPT, ICD9, HCPC preferredAbility to define processes and identify automation opportunities alongside agile and engineering teams  

Location & Hours of Work

< >Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate. Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH)
