As a Strategy Associate on the Strategic Operations team, you will help deliver research and insight that supports high-impact decisions across the business. You’ll work closely with senior team members to investigate emerging trends, analyze competitors, segment customers, and help frame opportunities where Oracle Health can differentiate and grow.
This role is ideal for someone early in their strategy or research career who is eager to develop deep healthcare expertise, sharpen strategic thinking skills, and contribute meaningfully to product and business decisions.
Responsibilities Support research on healthcare market trends, regulatory dynamics, and innovation areas Assess key competitors — including product features, pricing/packaging strategies, go-to-market motion, and market share Help gather and analyze customer feedback and market signals to inform product and positioning strategy Contribute to the creation of internal strategy deliverables, such as: Market briefs and landscape reports Competitor battlecards Opportunity assessments Leadership briefings and strategic presentations Develop relationships across Oracle Health to continually harvest internal intelligence (e.g., from sales, implementation, support, and customer success) Contribute to cross-functional meetings, research sprints, and decision-making processes Learn and grow into a subject matter expert in healthcare segments critical to Oracle’s strategyBasic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, public health, economics, policy, or healthcare administration) preferred. 2–5 years of relevant healthcare-industry experience in strategy, market research, consulting, healthcare, or product marketing Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interest in the healthcare industry and motivation to build deep subject matter expertise Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications Experience working in or with a healthcare consulting/advisory firm, large health system, or healthcare SaaS company Familiarity with tools like Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, and basic research platforms Exposure to any of the following is a plus: healthcare business models, healthcare regulations and policy, EMR systems, early-stage product strategy Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven team
