Location:Bonifacio Stopover Corporate Center (Hybrid working with potential offsite work at Cavite factories & suppliers).

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE:
Provide technical insight, solutions and recommendations especially on packaging & processing to deliver innovation and optimization projects in the Philippines
Workstream Lead for local packaging and processing innovations and savings projects in the Philippines
Leads implementation of packaging innovation, processing innovation and cost-optimization programmes in PH factories with full cross functional team
Champions the use of data & digital tools in delivering packaging and processing technical insights & solutions
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:
PACKAGING & PROCESSING WORKSTREAM LEAD:
R&D Packaging & Processing Technical lead – accountable for packaging and processing workstream across cross functional team and be key point of contact in Philippines for R&D Packaging & Processing expertise
Works with Global Packaging and Processing team and Cluster’s country team on landing new packaging technology.
Supports Gross Margin improvement agenda through packaging & processing optimization projects in our factories
Lead & collaborate with cross functional team: Manufacturing / Engineering / Procurement / Quality & technology team on landing projects On Time, In Full
LOCAL COUNTRY PACKAGING & PROCESSING EXPERT:
Drive ourpackaging technical programmes for alternative material sourcing, optimizing the existing pack portfolio, helping in assessment of problem solving which interface among Packaging and machines.
Support factory optimization programmes especially around improving capacity through batch cycle time, waste and efficiency programmes
Provide technical guidance to laboratory assistants for day-to-day activities
OTHER DELIVERABLES:
Able to validate and deploy new packaging and processing specifications in the factory with rigorous functional testing and comprehensive risk assessment
Able to clearly understand operating principles and establish technical standards and specifications on packaging and processing
Able to discuss with Engineering and Production people about packaging, processing, filling and mixing machine interface to find solutions
Able to assess & mitigate risks relevant to Production & Quality for mixing/ filling
Able to use data analysis, visualization & digital tools for decision making and problem solving
Experiences & Qualifications:
Required:
Degree in chemistry/ engineering background or equivalent experience
With minimum of 3 – 5 years in packaging and/or processing design, engineering, quality or any similar R&D workstreams with technical specifications management of packaging and processing
With experience in packaging and/or processing validation in factories with various mixing specifications and filling specifications
Preferred experience:
Experiences on packaging development - especially flexibles and rigids
Experiences on processing development – especially with personal care and beauty product liquids/ emulsions
Experiences in design and digital environment/ tools is highly desirable.
Exposure to Beauty and/or Personal Care is an advantage
Exposure to global & regional work experience is an advantage
With experience in project leadership, risk management and stakeholder engagement. Effective in managing external partners and working with virtual project teams
Skills:
Data management, visualization and analysis skill, and business process management is required
Dynamic and agile in leadership skills – able to manage virtual and present teams, able to influence and manage stakeholders, with problem solving and strategy building skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to synthesize data and present appropriately. English proficiency is a must
