As an HSEQ Advisor at DHL, you'll overcome daily logistical challenges to ensure our warehouse, and transport operations run smoothly and our employees are working within safe conditions. Within this role you will:

\n\nLead dedicated safety engagement across customer operations.\nMaintain a thorough understanding throughout the operational environment, and up to date training of WHS policies and procedures.\nEnsure alignment and implementation of current NHVL and WHS legislative requirements.\nLead internal site specific Safety audits, to maintain safe and compliant operations.\nEnsure all operational specific Work Health & Safety related documentation are reviewed & current.\nFacilitate safety risk assessments, incident investigations, reporting and recording of incidents.\nInvestigate serious transport and WHS incidents and prepare Safety Alerts within the defined timeframes.\nAdvise and facilitate issue resolution on all Australian WHS and National Heavy Vehicle Law / regulatory matters. \n\n

This is a fully site based role.

You will have the following qualities and qualifications\nCert IV in OHS.\nMinimum 3 years Work, Health and Safety experience (ideally in 3PL or logistics).\nExperience in risk assessment and implementation of controls.\nSound knowledge and working experience with Heavy Vehicle National Law.\nDemonstrated Transport Health and Safety knowledge with prior experience in Dangerous Goods preferred. \nWorking knowledge of industry specific WH&S legislation, standards & applicable Codes of Practices.\nManagement System Auditing accreditation is highly desired.\nTertiary qualification in health sciences / human movement / sport science essential.\nCurrent Drivers License. \nHighly developed written and oral communication skills.\n\n
