Responsibilities: Set up banquet tables, retrieve and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and food to guest tables according to hotel specifications and group requirements, courteously and efficiently. Take beverage orders and collect payments where specified. Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment. Read and understand Banquet Event Orders and carry out the instructions given on the Banquet Event Orders. Work well with co-workers as part of a team.

Requirements:

Prior experience as a Restaurant or Banquet Food Server is preferred  Hyatt brand experience is beneficial  Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages A genuine passion for the culinary arts, food, and beverage, with a willingness to continuously learn and grow Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine connections with guests and colleagues Ability to comprehend English in order to receive instructions from captains, managers and guests. Spanish language comprehension is valued Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure, ensuring efficient service even during peak dining hour

Compensation: $8.40 hourly
