**Requisition ID: 424893** **Work Area: Communication** **Expected Travel: 0 - 30%** **Career Status: Professional** **Employment Type: Regular Full Time** **Career Level: T3-1** **ORIGINAL POSTING DATE:** 05/19/2025 **Job Title:** Audience Relations Senior Specialist **Location:** New York, NY **Work Model:** Hybrid work model **Purpose and Objective:** SAP Global Marketing, Inc. seeks an Audience Relations Senior Specialist at our New York, NY location to use a data-driven analysis to inform SAP solution strategy, this role will drive engagement strategy for industry analysts. **Expectations and Tasks:** The role requires the effective use of AI for internal efficiency, and discovery of new methods of analysis. The candidate will need to demonstrate effective trust with key stakeholders including analysts, employees, influencers, media, bloggers. Educate and engage stakeholders through programs, campaigns, and events. Share audience-relevant news, facts and stories. Monitor SAP and IT-related analyst discussions and ensure crisis readiness. Counsel the SAP Board and internal stakeholders. Develop and maintain an analyst relations plan based on company and audience requirements. Identify budget requirements and manage financial forecasts, specific to research agendas. Have advanced understanding of entire audience relations area as well as broader Global Communications (GC) and SAP strategy, financials, ecosystem, products, priorities and Board areas. Know external audience, maintain independent relationships with selected members of external audience. Represent assigned topics within audience relations area and GC. Provide constructive feedback to cross-functional colleagues and managers. Create audience-specific corporate messaging on assigned topics. Own subtopic in high-impact programs or campaigns, independently set priorities, decide and drive tactics and deliver strong results. Contribute to annual communications plan. Create common ground on assigned topics and get colleagues to work towards joint goal. Build and maintain network across communication. Contribute to evolution of strategy/communications plan in audience relations area by providing solutions on assigned topics as well as relevant information and insights from other parts of GC (e.g. regions), the SAP business (e.g. industries) or the relevant audience group (through e.g. monitoring). Demonstrate focus on sharing, synergies and re-use as well as working in a highly integrated fashion. **Education and Occupational Experience:** Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field of study and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept pre-bachelor’s experience. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. **Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:** **Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:** + Analytics & AI to inform/shift company strategy; + Impacting and influencing Gartner Magic Quadrants and other rated research including successful escalation outcomes; + Delivery of analyst relations strategy to internal and external audiences for or with a high-tech software company; and + Leading program management including knowledge of analyst budget across Engineering and Marketing teams. **Experience must involve three (3) years in the following:** + Consistent use of effective use of analyzation tools Architect or Oz. **Travel:** Position requires up to 30% domestic or international travel to various and unanticipated client sites. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $111,363 - $207,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
