The Role

The Associate Commercial Director for Europe will play a key role in supporting the Commercial Director in driving business growth, managing commercial strategies, and building strong customer relationships across the European region. This role includes overseeing strategy, partnerships, and complex negotiations while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial expertise, strategic acumen, and a deep understanding of European and long-haul resort markets within the LAC region.

Commercial Strategy Development and Execution:Collaborate with the Commercial Director to define and execute commercial strategies for Europe.Identify and assess market opportunities to drive growth and profitability.Monitor key performance metrics and adapt strategies as neededLead and mentor a team of sales representatives to maximize performanceBusiness Development and Partnerships:Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.Develop strategic partnerships to enhance market presence and profitability.Support negotiations for significant contracts and agreementsAnalyze market trends and adjust pricing models accordingly: Support broader business objectives. Monitor team performance and implement strategies for improvementClose pulse and ability to identify regional trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies: Provide insights to inform product development and marketing effortsReporting and Analysis:Track and analyze sales performance metrics.Provide regular updates to the commercial team.Recommend adjustments to sales strategies based on performance dataSupport the leadership of commercial teams, providing guidance and mentorship.Foster cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations teams.Act as a key liaison between local markets and corporate leadershipThe position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Required Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).8 years of experience in commercial or business development roles, with 3 years in leadership.Proven ability to develop and implement commercial strategies.Deep understanding of European markets, regulations, and customer needs.Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skillsExcellent organizational and communication skills.Analytical mindset with attention to detailLanguage: Proficiency in English and German required, additional European languages are an advantage.Characteristics:Strong management skills including superior written and verbal communication skills.Must have solid understanding and experience in hospitality industry.Must have high attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong Interpersonal skills and results driven.Successful budget planning and administration skills.Strong negotiation and analytical skills.Ability to present to large audiences.Ability to work well under pressure.Takes initiative.Travel is a must.Strong team PlayerValid passport and ability to travel required.
