Associate Business Planning and Reporting
Responsibilities

Support the annual budgeting and strategic planning process by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial and operational data across departments.

Develop, update, and maintain financial forecasting models to support decision-making and performance evaluations.

Analyze actual financial results against budgets and forecasts; identify and explain variances with actionable insights.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports with clear summaries, KPIs, and recommendations.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Production, Sales, Procurement, and R&D) to ensure data accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.

Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the financial impact of different business cases and market trends.

Partner with the Finance Center of Excellence (CoE) and Shared Services to drive financial reporting efficiency and data consistency.

Ensure timely delivery of financial reports and adherence to reporting deadlines.

Support audit processes by preparing necessary reports and responding to auditor queries.

Continuously seek opportunities to improve budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

 

Characteristics / Qualifications & Skills   Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

4-5 years of experience in financial planning, business analysis, or reporting, preferably in logistics, distribution, or a related industry.

Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial planning tools.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

  Technical & Functional Skills

Strong financial analysis and forecasting skills.

Deep understanding of budgeting processes and business planning frameworks.

Experience in preparing professional reports, dashboards, and presentations.

Solid knowledge of financial performance metrics and KPI tracking.

  Behavioral & Interpersonal Traits

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

Effective communication skills – fluent in Arabic and English.

Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.

High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.

Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
