**Additional Information** **Job Number** 25053327 **Job Category** Revenue Management **Location** Greater China (Hong Kong), Suite 1108 11th Floor Cityplaza One, Hong Kong, Hong Kong, ChinaVIEW ON MAP (https://www.google.com/maps?q=Greater%20China%20%28Hong%20Kong%29%2C%20Suite%201108%2011th%20Floor%20Cityplaza%20One%2C%20Hong%20Kong%2C%20Hong%20Kong%2C%20China) **Schedule** Full Time **Located Remotely?** N **Position Type** Non-Management **JOB SUMMARY** • Responsible for the analysis of demand, rate and revenue associated with the participating hotels’ rooms and function space inventory • Assist for preparation of forecasts (budgets and projections) and critiques of sales strategy effectiveness • Utilizes analytical tools and systems toward the goal of maximizing total hotel revenue and profit. • Responsible for managing rooms inventory; ensuring that the inventory is allocated and restricted properly in order to maximize total hotel revenues and profits. • Ensures that all rates, packages, eChannels and hotel sales strategy information is built in the hotel’s inventory systems. • Making Decisions and Solving Problems by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problem. • Prepare and lead the weekly Sales Strategy Meeting for 1 hotel. CANDIDATE PROFILE **Education and Experience** • Graduate degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, And • 2-year related experience in Hotel or any Revenue Management is preferred. **CORE WORK ACTIVITIES** • Assist in the management of rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue, as well as maintain accuracy of information and enhance automation efforts in reservation system. • Prepares the sales strategy meetings with critiques, findings and recommendations and ensure discussed strategies and action plan are effectively implemented • Exploring Business Opportunities - Exploring opportunities that drive profit, create value for clients, and encourage innovation; challenging existing processes/systems/products to make improvements. • Prepare monthly forecast and support preparation of budget for room and catering. • Perform rate loading tasks in a timely manner to ensure offers are available for customers to book via hotel’s website or third-party channels, and ensure rate parity across all distribution channels. • Assist in managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, including communicating rate restrictions and strategies. • Perform all Revenue Management month end reporting and critique and provide forward looking information for the purposes of forecasting, targeting need areas and balancing financial expectations. • Accurately generate, process and update Revenue Management reports and serve as primary source for majority of reporting and analytical needs of the Management team. • Assist with system maintenance including but not limited to, inputting rate hurdles, monitoring forecasted demand, updating group forecasting and running daily system checks. • Assist with training of new associates as necessary on revenue management tools. • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested. • **MANAGEMENT COMPETENCIES** • Adaptability - Maintains performance level under pressure or when experiencing changes or challenges in the workplace. • Communication - Conveys information and ideas to others in a convincing and engaging manner through a variety of methods. • Problem Solving and Decision Making - Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities; obtains and compares information from different sources to draw conclusions, develops and evaluates alternatives and solutions, solves problems, and chooses a course of action. • Driving for Results - Sets high standards of performance for self and/or others; assumes responsibility for work objectives; initiates, focuses, and monitors the efforts of self and/or others toward the accomplishment goals; proactively takes action and goes beyond what is required. • Planning and Organizing - Gathers information and resources required to set a plan of action for self and/or others; prioritizes and arranges work requirements to accomplish goals and ensure work is completed. • Coworker Relationships - Interacts with others in a way that builds openness, trust, and confidence in the pursuit of organizational goals and lasting relationships. • Customer Relationships - Develops and sustains relationships based on an understanding of customer/stakeholder needs and actions consistent with the company’s service standards. • Applied Learning - Seeks and makes the most of learning opportunities to improve performance of self and/or others. • Technical Acumen - Understands and utilizes professional skills and knowledge in a specific functional area to conduct and manage everyday business operations and generate innovative solutions to approach function-specific work challenges. • Basic Competencies - Fundamental competencies required for accomplishing basic work activities. o Basic Computer Skills - Uses basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.). o Mathematical Reasoning - Adds, subtracts, multiplies, or divides quickly, correctly, and in a way that allows one to solve work-related issues. o Oral Comprehension - Listens to and understands information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. o Reading Comprehension – Understands written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. o Writing - Communicates effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. _Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
