Duties and responsibilities related to the Assistant Events Operations Manager role
Lead aspects of events operations department, including managing the events operations team, delegating tasks, provide guidance and support, and ensure all colleagues are working cohesively toward common objectives.In collaboration with the Events Operations Manager and Director of Food Beverage, assist in the implementation of strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.Ensure seamless execution of events by liaising with colleagues, vendors and suppliers to coordinate logistics, technical requirements, and special requests.Be creative and think outside the box, regularly assessing and refining service skills of colleagues and experimenting with new ways of developing the department.Take a lead in the hiring of new colleagues, embracing recruitment and exploring new ways of attracting top talent.About you
Proven experience in luxury events operations, with strong leadership and management skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team. You will have excellent knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
