• Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc.).
•Participate and support corporate social responsibility initiatives for the achievement of key business strategies.
•Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes; systems and policies and support implementation of new processes; policies and systems.
•Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impacts on role by reading the relevant newsletters; websites and attending sessions.
•Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with team and stakeholders.
•Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from managers.
•Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities by ensuring all learning activities are completed; experience practiced and certifications obtained and/or maintained within specified time frames.
•Ensure information is provided correctly to stakeholders by maintaining and sharing knowledge with team.
•Meet client needs by evaluating post event feedback to ensure continued improvement and client satisfaction.
•Create effective internal relationships by assisting with monitoring of competitor event activity and maintaining market synergy and competiveness.
•Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders by ensuring understanding and supporting achievement of marketing team objectives.
•Meet event requirements by adhering to budget; delivering on targets; due dates and according to service level agreements.
•Improve performance and results by assisting with post event analysis and reconciliation enabling measurement of Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI).
•Optimise spend and get added value through research and evaluation of potential suppliers.
•Support the execution of event project plans to deliver projects by consistenly ensuring work is completed to plan; progress is reviewed in line with deadlines and budgets and corrective action is taken when necessary.
•Keep stakeholders informed on project progress through regular communication and effective use of resources to deliver agreed results.
•Support the events team by managing administrative activities also aligned to technical practises and company standards.
•Ensure compliance and mitigate risk by adhering to and monitoring internal business processes (e.g. finance; procurement; contractual; approvals) and taking corrective action when necessary.
•Report on service providers professional support and ensure a high level of service is maintained by monitoring; identifying and resolving work obstacles and problems.
•Contribute to review of event activities by collating information for reporting.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate Preferred Qualification

Relevant Bachelors Degree, National Diploma or IMM Degree at NQF Level 6

Minimum Experience Level

1-2 years' experience in Events administration, as an Events specialist or working in a Marketing environment
