Join our Team
What you will do:
•    Lead the debug of system and ASIC issues across multiple IP and system domains found within the product during pre-silicon, bring-up, validation, and production phases
•    Use your knowledge of HW and SW to define/create experiments to reproduce complex issues in a debug environment
•    Providing root cause analysis, documentation, and direction for closure of issues
•    Analyze trends and provide recommendations to validation/productization teams on how to shift-left finding of issues
•    Lead collaborative technical discussions to drive resolution on technical issues
•    Define and perform Debug IP functional test plans and validation strategies for a global team
•    Provide requirements for ASIC Design-for-Debug features, platform, firmware, and other tools to facilitate system and ASIC debug
•    Drive technical innovations to improve Ericsson's capabilities in ASIC debug, including debug tool and script development as well as technical and methodology improvements
•    Guide and mentoring junior team members through complex debug processes
What you will Bring:
•    7-10 years of experience isolating and root causing complex ASIC system issues in a HW/FW/SW context with hands on work in the lab and a MS degree in related field of study preferred.
•    Demonstrated knowledge with system level architecture, hardware, and software, including interactions, with proven ability to apply this understanding to debug and root cause issues
•    Demonstrated ability to influence technically to drive progress/change to improve quality
•    Coding abilities in a language like C and Python and use of lab scopes/analyzers to isolate issues
•    Analyze and interpret kernel logs (dmesg, /var/log/kern.log, etc.) to identify and diagnose system crashes, kernel panics, hardware faults, and driver issues.
•    Experience with system (e.g. RAS), ASIC, and platform-level debug, including experience with industry standard busses such as DDR, Ethernet, CPRI, JESD, PCIe, I2C, I3C, SerDes, etc.
•    Experience and use of AI/ML in a HW quality context would be a strong bonus

Base Pay Range: $200,000 to $240,000
