Your Team

The Intangibles, Data Value & Research and Development (IDR) group within the Amadeus Legal Department, which manages intellectual property (trademarks, patents,etc.) and R&D funding, is seeking to enhance its tools and processes by leveraging the latest technologies available.

To support this initiative, the IDR group is offering an apprenticeship opportunity at its office in Sophia Antipolis commencing in September 2025. The apprenticeship will last for 12 months.

Role Overview

Assist IDR with cutting-edge technology tasks, providing opportunities to learn and gain experience in Innovation, AI, and legal fields.

* Understand the constraints and value of IP and IDR work

* Consult internal experts to identify various technologies (including internal tools) applicable to IP and IDR work, gaining insights from seasoned professionals.

* Analyze data and information from different tools in the market (availability, cost, expected savings, scope, etc.), which involves diving deep into market research and competitive analysis.

* Engage with external providers to identify available solutions and assess their compatibility with IP and IDR work.

* Benchmark industry peers to understand their approaches to AI, enhancing our practices, and staying ahead in the tech game.

* Identify at least one potential specific use case (text drafting and analysis notably for patent, classification, automation, Enterprise Knowledge Management etc.) where AI can revolutionize IP management or substantially increase the efficiency of IDR work.

* Initiate a pilot on the use cases identified, taking the lead on exciting experimental projects.

* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented AI tools, providing recommendations for further enhancements and future steps

Your Profile

A second or third year in an engineering degree (preferably in IT).

Should have the will and capability to work outside of their comfort zone and the scope of their studies. Notably should be interested by drafting.

Specific Knowledge

Analytical skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills.

Work efficiently in a team.

Autonomy

Good knowledge and strong interest in new technologies.

Language

English (working language): excellent written and oral skills essential

French: optional but useful

Computer

Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

Excel depending on the use case identified might be used extensively.
