About the Apprenticeship  

This role will support the VP of Reward for Reward Executive in achieving identified business outcomes and metrics. It involves maintaining a balance between product maintenance and innovation, aligning changes with continuous improvement and service level requirements. 

You will be enrolled as a Level 5 HR People Professional standard which will help you develop your skills and knowledge and can take up to 25 months to complete. 

 

 About You  

The Associate Reward Business Partner Apprentice will support the design, implementation, and administration of reward programs to ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures. This role will work closely with HR, finance, and business leaders to provide insights and recommendations on salary benchmarking, benefits, and performance-based reward systems. The incumbent will play a key role in data analysis, market research, and ensuring compliance with reward policies. The following are some of the key areas for this role: 

Assist in the development and implementation of reward programs, policies, and frameworks,  Conduct market benchmarking and salary analysis to ensure competitive compensation structures,  Support job evaluations and contribute to salary banding and pay structure reviews,  Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to HR and business leaders,  Ensure reward policies align with legal requirements, market trends, and business objectives,  Administer employee benefits programs and assist with benefits benchmarking,  Support performance-based reward initiatives, including incentive and recognition programs,  Assist in reward-related communications and training initiatives for employees and managers,  Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and data providers for benchmarking and research,  Monitor and report on reward trends, policies, and effectiveness of implemented programs. 

 

Key skills and competencies  

Some experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards (internship or entry-level experience preferred),  Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret compensation data and trends,  Basic understanding of job evaluation, market benchmarking, and pay structures,  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems,  Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills,  Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential data,  Willingness to learn and develop within the total rewards function. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

Working towards  or achieved a Level 3 CIPD qualification, WorldatWork, or other relevant professional certification,  Familiarity with HR analytics tools and compensation databases,  Understanding of reward regulations and compliance requirements. 

 

Job Location and Hours  

This role is aligned to our 80 Strand London office.  

We work a 37.5-hour week, with all our team free to flex their day around our core hours, which are Monday to Friday, 10 to 4 GMT/BST. School runs, etc can be accommodated. Other flexible working patterns can be considered, including part-time working and non-traditional hours. As we regularly work with global teams, particularly in India and the US, there may be the occasional need to accommodate meetings outside of core hours. 

For this role there is a requirement to provide occasional out of hours support during business-critical periods.
