Department Overview

The Service Reliability Engineering (SRE) team is an integral part of Oracle’s Communications Global Industry Unit (CGIU) which offers Cloud solutions. The SRE team provides Cloud solutions Technical Support and performs daily Operations for CGIU. The SRE team is responsible for the overall health, performance, and reliability of Cloud services. The team’s mission, goals, and objectives are based on advocating and implementing Agile, DevOps, Automation, and ITIL Best Practices in a Cloud DevOps culture.

The SRE team provides 24x7x365 coverage and requires personnel working in rotational shifts which will include weekends and public holidays. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer within the SRE team, your primary responsibilities in partnership with Cloud Development, will be deploying, upgrading, and maintaining critical Cloud offerings in production and non-production platforms (IaaS and PaaS). Support of Daily Operations will focus on monitoring, incident response, problem management and Request Fulfillment. Team members are expected to deliver the highest quality services and support to our partners.
