Job Description

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our Business Digital Team team as a Graduate Application  Support!

Business Digital Department working closely with IT and Local user departments supporting Local Applications.

Responsible for the support and maintenance of local applications used by Home Comfort Great Britain, the upkeep of quality documentation and development of specific solutions to help automate manual, logic driven processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Collaborate with our users to develop creative solutions to their business problems.Be part of Agile project teams to develop and implement technical requirements.Active involvement in continuous improvement topics across the business.Investigate new technologies and identify use cases that may benefit our business.Support the Systems Support Leader in providing technical support for all local applications.Maintain “Asset configuration” and “Technical and privileged account management” processes including migration of automated workflows used by said processes to new RPA tool.Monitoring of local application and server backups.Keep up to date local application and process documentation to a high standard.Support the Local Application Coordinator and in completing operators’ self-checks for designated local applications. Support the Local Application Coordinator and IT Owners to close off multilane’s actions for designated local applications.Service life cycle management for designated local applications.Support the Network Segmentation in Enterprise IT project for designated local applications.Support the IT owners with One Industry IT topics for designated local applications.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate must have:

Be degree qualified. Computer Science or Business ITExcellent communication skills with internal and external contacts. Have strong IT skills, with experience in application development, Databases, automation and or RPA. Be well organised and able to work under pressure, maintain excellent attention to detail and meet strict deadlines. Customer focused, reliable, dedicated, and self-motivated. Inquisitive nature who enjoys problem solving. Passionate about IT and Technology. Be a quick learner and have a methodical and flexible and approach to meet customer requirements. Effective team worker as well as the ability to work on own initiative.

Self-assured, proactive, and innovative, with a strong ability to embrace change.

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunchbreak
