Position Overview

Seeking an application development advisor to join the Digital Security and Experience Operations team in Evernorth. This team's focus is to provide first level response and awareness relative to digital security related impact. Additionally, this team maintains, grows, and advocates for the HCL Discover Behavioural Analytics platform. This is a highly collaborative team that works with many lines of business across the enterprise. Craftsmanship, pride in ownership, and passion for excellence are core expectations.

As a Software Engineering Lead Analyst, you are expected to work closely with developers, technical project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure the best possible experience when using the behavioural analytics platform and facilitate the fastest resolution possible for digital security related impacts.

Responsibilities

Create/maintain analytics for vendor developed on-premises behavioral Analytics PlatformSupport and resolve user needs with behavioral analytics platformInterpret and modify vendor developed JavaScript libraryAutomate technical functions (software deployment, platform management, etc.)Engage and communicate with business and application development teams

Qualifications

Required Experience & Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Engineering or related course work8 to 11 years of work experience in application engineering/software developmentFamiliarity with Front-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience working in database environments like SQLite, Postgres, SQLServer, Oracle, or MySQLExperience in Git based source control tools like GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment along with tools like Github Projects, Jira, Rally, etc.Experience with Linux, Windows Server, Scripting including Powershell, bash, etc.

Desired Experience:  

Healthcare domain knowledgeExperience with HCL Discover or Acoustic/IBM TealeafKnowledge of API tools like PostmanExperience with Application Monitoring Tools (Splunk, Dynatrace etc)Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid analytical skills, highly organized, self-motivated and a quick learner Flexible and willing to accept change in priorities as necessary
