Job Description:

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Data Warehouse team is responsible in translating business process into a technical design using SQL Applications such as SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and other BI tools like PowerBi.  We work closely with other teams to support their reporting and analysis needs.  

This FY23, we are implementing a Project Named: Daily Detail Extract.  In this project, we pull data from our Financial System incrementally through an integration process and push it to our Data warehouse.  The data is a consolidated ledger for around 60 Business Unit with details down to the Journal Line number of a transaction.   We feed this data in different format to our reporting tools such as OLAP Cubes, Excel file Report, SSRS and PBI.

To successfully complete the project, we need to create, review and update views, tables, stored procedures and develop SSIS loaders to align with the incremental and frequent update of data within our Data warehouse. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Write relational and multidimensional database queriesDevelop views, stored procedures and tables in SQLAutomate ETL process in SSISSQL Design Optimization

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field preferredAdvanced skills in database administration including database maintenance, upgrades and administrationAdvanced skills in database developmentAt least 3-5 years’ solid experience using SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2012, Visual Studio 2012 or lower, BIDS, T-SQL QueryingKnowledgeable in Microsoft Azure, MDX, DAX, Tabular, Power BI, and Excel BI Tools.Strong background in systems development life-cycleWith at least 6 years’ experience in Business Intelligence toolsStrong database administration experienceHas experience working in a multi-cultural and global working environmentHas experience working with and collaborating with various levels and departments in the organization
