This position is part of the Research and Development Department located in Madison, WI and will be onsite. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the Analytical Method Development team and report to the Director, Analytical Development, responsible for support of analytical method development and qualification and new method research.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Have an impact on the organization of the Madison Analytical Method Development (AMD) team, in support of design and execution of assay development projectsAct as a primary contact for team members to the respective business units, represent the AMD team at meetings, and foster healthy professional relationships between teamsSupport the Madison AMD team by management of materials and samples, time tracking and assistance with quality eventsChampion continuous improvement projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency.Occasionally perform laboratory work related to assay development and product characterization testing.The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline with 1+ years of experience.Ability to harmonize across multiple disciplines from finance, business operations, and scientific operations.Experience or familiarization with three or more of the following lab equipment, lab techniques, or assays: Spectrophotometry, Chromatography, Capillary Electrophoresis, PCR, ELISA, Activity Assay, Endotoxin, Concentration.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Project managementKnowledge of Regulatory guidelines related to analytical development and QC testing.Use of an Enterprise Resource Planning software application#LI-LM3
